A free public campground managed by Koochiching County, located right on the Rainy River near Birchdale. Nelson's Park offers about a dozen rustic campsites with picnic tables and fire pits, making it a popular spot for anglers and festival-goers alike.

A beautiful Minnesota state park located right on Highway 11 near Birchdale, featuring scenic hiking trails through stately white pines along the Rainy River. Franz Jevne offers 21 rustic campsites in a peaceful, quiet setting.

  • 2 electric sites available
  • RV length limit: 30 feet
